Tuesday's match-up between the opposing varsity squads of the Idabel Lady Warriors and the Durant Lady Lions was a nail-biter until the third quarter when the Warriors began to pull away toward a victory. With the first quarter tied up at 11 each, and the first half buzzer sounding at Idabel 21 - Durant 20, the Warriors out-scored the Lions 7 to 2 in the third quarter, and 11 to 7 in the fourth.
The Warriors made 8 out of 9 free throws for the evening with two each being scored by Kacie Beard, Gabby Wells, Alicia Aho, and Khadrianna Young. Aho scored three field goals to add nine points to her free shots and brought her total to eleven for the night. Alex Bartholomew scored a bucket in each of the first three quarters and scoring six for the night. Beard added a 3-pointer to her two for a total of five. Add that to Lee's 3-plus-2, Wells' double buckets, and Young's pair of deuces for a game winning score.
