Rick was a retired Weyerhaeuser employee. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his children and grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rusty Pennington.
Rick is survived by his wife, Sherri Pennington of Wright City, OK; his mother, Margaret Bender, of Broken Bow; his sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Sandy Pennington, Steve Pennington, Michael Pennington, all of Broken Bow, and Brittany and Dr. Megann Scott of Oklahoma City; his daughter, Jessica Pennington, of Wright City; a brother, Terry Grahams of Broken Bow; a sister, Rita Pennington of Broken Bow; 2 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held today, Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Broken Bow.
