Lavern Oleta Daniel, age 90, widow of Harold H. Daniel, left this earth for her Heavenly Home on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Sammy Lue and David Sadler.

Lavern’s lifetime gift from God was to be a caregiver and nurturer to those in need. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Redland Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Mae Boyd; her beloved husband, Harold H. Daniel; and six brothers and sisters.

Lavern is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sammy Lue and David Sadler of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carolina Hospice Care, 410 Mill St. (Suite 401) Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Redland Cemetery in the Redland community East of Idabel, OK.
