Rev. Pauline Evans, age 85, of Idabel, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Hugo. She was born June 21, 1924 in Millerton, the daughter of Robert and Lizzie Thomas Daniels.
Pauline was a retired minister. She had her credentials with the Pentecostal Church of God and pastored a Church near Porterville, CA for several years. Pauline enjoyed singing and playing the guitar in Church. She loved and was very devoted to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Seth McClure and Leamon Evans; a son, Bobby Dale McClure; sisters, Ozella Farris and Roma Farris; and a brother, Bob Daniels.
Pauline is survived by her son, Thomas E. McClure of Millerton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Coy and Edna Daniels of Valliant, and Dan and Kim Daniels of San Semien, CA; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty Sue and Bert DeBelle of Hemett, CA; 2 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
